I am fast approaching my
retirement and after 44+ years of being
employed, I have very little to show for it.
Like most others, I thought I could work
until retirement age, then retire and relax,
living out my remaining years in comfort. I
know now, this was only a dream.
'If
I knew what I know now', I surely would have
done things much different. |

We should never stop learning how to
better ourselves and our situation. Being employed and
working for others should only be a 'stepping stone' to
bigger and better things. Nowadays, depending solely upon a
'job' is very risky, at best. Not only could you get
laid off at any time with little notice, but your employer
could go out of business tomorrow leaving you high and dry.
Don't ever stop trying to better yourself and your
situation!
The intent of this site is twofold. It is
to offer you many different resources and opportunities to
better yourself and your situation without costing you an
'arm and a leg' along with a way for me to earn a little
income to help support my family since I have no means of
income other than social security when I retire. |
